Palakka Mulla Mottu Hybrid Necklace.
It is a traditional South Indian jewellery design, particularly popular in Kerala. The name Mulla Mottu translates to “Jasmine Buds” in Malayalam, reflecting the necklace’s design, which is inspired by the delicate shape of jasmine buds. These motifs are typically rounded and pointed, resembling the natural shape of unopened jasmine buds.
It is a hybrid of Palakka Stone & Mulla Mottu  –Â
The term “Palakka” represents the ‘Pala’ eaf (Jackfruit Leaf), a significant symbol in Kerala’s cultural iconography, symbolizing nature and growth.
